Terms of use

These terms apply to games published by Blackiced Studios, a trade name of C Squared Solutions LLC ("we", "us"), and to this website. By installing or playing one of our games you agree to them. If you got the game from Steam or Google Play, that store's terms (the Steam Subscriber Agreement or the Google Play Terms of Service) also apply, and they win if there's a conflict about purchases or refunds.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. The game is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights, title and interest in it.
2. What you can't do
- Copy, resell, rent, sublicense or distribute the game or its assets
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law allows it regardless of this term, or where we've released official modding tools
- Remove copyright or trademark notices
- Use the game or its content to break the law
3. Videos, streams and screenshots
You may stream, record and share video and screenshots of our games, including on monetised channels, as long as you don't claim the game as your own or redistribute the game itself.
4. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are processed by the store you bought from, and refunds follow that store's policy. See Support for links.
5. Updates
We may release patches and updates to fix bugs, improve the game or change content. Some updates may be required to keep playing.
6. Disclaimer
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the game will be error-free or run on every device.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or saved games. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, and you keep any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.
8. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends you must uninstall the game.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle information. Short version: our games don't collect personal data.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where C Squared Solutions LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
